The major bridge over Sutlej river and Beas river are of length 712.5m (=19x37.5m) and 825m (=22x37.5m) respectively, and designed as a framed structure supported on two-pier structure system and pile group configuration for substructure.

Six Laning of Vijaywada Bypass, PKG 4, from Gollapudi to Chinnakakani in Vijaywada-Gundugolanu on HAM (17.88 Km).

Key Highlights:

Viaduct of span 94m and 100m was designed as integral structure with cast in-situ RCC Girder with substructure as single row concentric pile foundation. At this project, the tallest circular piers of height 22m which were integrated with rectangular beam at mid-height to reduce the slenderness of column. At abutment location, sloped front fill was retained using stone pitching and curtain wall.
